Hi can the distributor be dismantled. looking into top of mine it appears to have cut through one of hall sensor leads.odd thing is i have a spark at coil but injectors dont seem to be fireing .

yeah but it's a bit of a bugger.  There's a roll pin through the plastic drive wheel which you have to knock out.  Probably OK if you have the correct size punch knocking about.  Just be careful to not break the plastic wheel!  Other than that it's pretty straight forward and you can buy the hall sender on it's own if you need to.

Alternatively, a multi-point injection 8v 6n polo dizzy works fine.  Much easier to find than original g40 ones.  The hall sender connector is in a different location but I've ran one on my g40 for years.
