changing con rod small end bushes

So I'm about to put my engine back together.  Just collecting the necessary parts.

When doing this, does anyone bother replacing the small end bearing bushes?  These things:

I've heard it's more trouble than it's worth.

I didn't bother with them. So long as they look in good enough condition. I was advised by a few people not to bother with them anyway. Don't know how much this helps.

Haynes has the tolerances on these, so can check whether they're still to spec.
