Camshaft & tappets

Hi can anybody give me some advice about where to buy a new but standard camshaft & set of tappets please

I think PeteG40 may sell tappets.

Cam shaft, maybe try contacting VW Heritage...

Yeah not sure getting a new cam shaft will be easy/cheap.  Not fancy a used one?

Nick at RS Engine supplies. I got my last set of INA buckets from him, can do cheaper alternatives too. He might be able to source a pattern camshaft also. Worth a phonecall.

doubt you'll be able to get a new camshaft anywhere.  Is it a G40 one you're after?  I've got my old one that I could sell.  It's standard g40, not new obviously, it's done about 95k miles.  In perfect condition though.

Yeah I got a set of tappets off Pete and they were spot on. I went for an aftermarket cam off Piper cost £200 but it's made made the car a good bit livelier. Or I also have a g40 cam for sale £25
