Did another track day at Oulton Park on Tuesday and found this video on YouTube uploaded by a guy driving an M3.

Video is 3 videos merged into 1 - at the mid point of the video I am behind him and he lets me through on the pit straight.

I will upload some of my own videos up later on.

The polo was running well again and fastest lap was 2:02 which is the same as the previous couple of track days so I am at the limit of my talent - I think with some better talent behind the wheel it can do a sub 2 minute lap. My friend in a crx with 165bhp was doing 2:15 so the polo ain't too shabby.

Absolutely awesome!! Looks like such a rush!! Is this the one I was going to go to? Sorry I didn't, going to Wales the end of the month so money was tight :/ I will definitely be tagging along next year mate when car is fully sorted

Epic driving too dude. :)

Looks so fast from the m3's view and just appears to stick around the corners, is it quite a handful to control?

Yoof

*cough* It's a 328i *cough*

Good work though rocket  ;D

It seems to get dirtier each time- are you competing with Boni?  :P

I wouldn't say that its easy to drive, i need to have the alignment sorted out to get it to handle a bit better as its not ideal at the moment.

Its predictable enough to play with the throttle through corners.

Time for some tuition to break the 2 min barrier?

Car looks cool, rugged!

What sort of front spring rate are you running now, looks like there is quite a bit of roll in some of the photos...maybe a little too much (I don't know?)

I had some tuition last time and (not being cocky) i didn't really gain that much from it. I think i could do with the car setting up a bit better alignment wise to get the car to handle a bit better and maybe i can hit the sub 2 minutes.

The fronts are running 375lb and the rear is running 250lb's.

I didn't suffer from much understeer once the slicks had warmed up so it loaded the front end up lots when cornering.

Video 4

About 8:30mins into the video i manage to catch up with a blue EVO 6 - spoke to the owner afterwards and was told its running 420bhp and was on slicks - don't think it was driven to it maximum potential...............
