brake servo refurb?

I'm about to sort the brakes on my g. New everything, hel performance braided lines and such.

However I'm stuck on the servo, firstly how do I know if it's working it's best and if not is there a refurb/rebuild kit or somewhere to buy new.

Secondly I'm undecided on which pads to run on the front. It's all road use have 140bhp ish but will be going up maybe 165bhp.

Ferrodo DS2500 are really good pads. Thats what im running and i find these better than the red stuff pads i had.
