G60 it seems.

Mate posted it on my page on fb time ago, said I needed to make the Peril look like that.

Hmmm... sounds more like an Eaton rather than a G60.

Man! I want to do something insane with the G but worried about ruining it's originality
Lysholm, g60 or maybe turbo :/

GR40

Here is a though! Do as I did. Find a cheap Arosa/Lupo shell, drop a g40 engine in it (fairly easy). Go mental! That is if u don't want to mess with the Polo! And nobody will blame you for ruining the polo! ;D

z3i

Yeah but I love the polo, and I can't afford two cars

What sort of boost figures can you expect on a 1341 g40 with a g60 lader on it? G60 owners say 16psi for a ported unit and 68mm pulley, but that's on a high flow engine, so must be a fair amount more on a g40, reckon you could get 20psi? What sort of rpm would it produce near max boost?

you can get more than 20psi.

surely you'd rather have a better flowing head and lower psi?

No way! What sort of boost you think?
1341
Flowed head
51mm throttle

Benh, there's not really much more I can do to increase flow other than big valves, but I'd rather up the boost, as it's quite expensive
Can you get good results with g60? chargers, not many people do them, must be a reason

could you not buy the valves yourself and get a local engineer to fit them with new seats.  Here they are from jabbasport @ £117 ish

New valves, seats,  need blending in too,  will cost a few hundred with the valves
