hi guys wonder if you could help, thinking of putting a roll cage in my G40, wonder if anyone has any idea where to locate one from?

Safety Devices used to make them, altho I dont think they do anymore and trying to find a 2nd hand one is easier than finding a happy PSD customer....

Other options are OMP, I have one but the fit still leaves a lot to be desired.

Lastly could try one of the many custom cage fabricators up or down the country!

Custom cages can be VERY expensive! eBay.de has afew on now and then if you can find a way to get it back over here!

Matt- If you're competent with a welder and have access to a pipe bender have a go at DIY! Here's my effort from when I was 18:



Few bits I'd like to revise now after studying more cage design- but the basics are there.

Unfortunately I don't have much time on my hands anymore otherwise I'd do the Mk3 cage myself again- it's going to the same guy who fabricates the subframes for us, so there is a possability of being able to offer them to other people in the future too  :)

i have a cage out a mk4 fits in mine great,
only small adjustments , just the legs down by about 2 inch's.
i can try find some photos

If the quality and fit were good that would be an awesome price.. even if they werent amazing, £450 would still be reasonable!

Is that for a half or full cage?
