Mk3 headrest removal

Getting the seats in my g40 wrapped and was wondering how do you remove the metal poles of the headrest from the front seats in order to get the seat covering off?

There are little cerclips on the plastic bit pull them out then the poles will come out then to get the plastic bit out you have to unclipthe the lugs down inside the plastic bit, bit of a shit but I think I inclipped the seat cover at the bottom and put my hand up there
