G40 hunting and dying
« on: August 28, 2012, 04:37:54 pm »
Ok so Engine in and running to a fashion, timing is near enough spot on we can get it idling but it seems to be hunting and then it dies, we have had it reving cleanly but if you hold ya foot on the throttle at say 2000 rpm it starts hunting but if you take ya foot off it idles perfect ( this seems to be intermittent tho at the minute because we have gone to re-try and it now fires then dies)

I have been told it could be the lambda sensor so i have one on order to try tomorrow, i have also been told the leads run in the order of 1342 (1  being at 9 o'clock then running anti clockwise)  this made it run worse and died almost instantly

I need help guys and i'm sure someone will have the answer i need

Cheers Kerry
