low coolant light

Hi been having this problem on and off for around 2 weeks .low coolant light starts flashing for no obvious reason suspected bad connection but cant pin it down anyone any ideas.

could be low pressure? When was pump last changed?

Could replace tank as the sensor could be faulty. Only like £12-£15.

probably the level sensor in the header tank, new tanks aren't expensive.

Hi  fitted new expansion tank very reasonable 10.25 from gsf but the light continues to flash does anyone know if the wireing goes to the dash board or to ecu not very clear in haynes manual
