Ptfe spray and how to spray

Hi I have Boost return delete on my G40 which Is the correct way of spraying Ptfe spray into the charger i.e. Engine running etc?

engine running, just give it 2 or 3 short sprays, a second long each.  It doesn't need a lot, most problems I've seen and heard about seem to be caused by people putting way too much of it in.

Ok and I can do this by just unbolting the blanking plate on charger and spaying only through there?
