Difference between g40 engine and gt???

Hey guys, this has probably been asked a million times but i just wanted to know the differences between the 2... ive been on with a full engine rebuild on my gt engine so have it all stripped ready at the mo, i have every gasket and seal i need, all i need is crank shell bearings and piston rings to complete but now thinking of going the turbo or supercharger way with it...

first of all ive been told the gt blocks are different so i would need to get hold of a g40 bottom end... true or false?

also i know most of my gaskets/replacement bits are standard and probably can be used but was gunna try go for something a bit quicker than standard... ive read about not using standard head gaskets and using thinner metal ones, anything else gasket wise need and uprated one like head bolts etc... or are the standard gaskets ok?

also been told the gt heads are the same as g40 ones too (so am im half way there haha)... true or false?

probably have tonnes more questions later on but them 3 will do for know haha, thanks in advance guys
