How much Can a standard clutch take?

How much stick can a standard clutch take?

I reckon any with a glader should be ok... prob 170ish. After that it'll probably slip with v hard use.

The problem with g40 clutches is not the clutch but the cables are shit the end brakes off at pedal end of cable

Ahh right yer the ball is it into the gearbox lever.
But isnt that just general wear on any of the range.

you need to look at torque for clutches not bhp.  A g40 clutch is probably good for up to around 150lb/ft without losing too much lifespan.  Basically the more torque, the less time it's going to last.  Much more than 150lb/ft and you'll be replacing it quite often.  Also depends what you want to use the car for, road use is Ok but if you're going to be doing track days then you'll want a decent uprated clutch.
