Managed to snap an oil ring while popping the rings on the pistons.

Has anybody got a spare set (for one piston) lying around? Otherwise i know TSR do a set

I broke loads fitting mine, then bought a tapered ring compressor, made it a pleasure to fit. Unfortunately I bought 75 and 76mm, otherwise I'd offer to lend it to you.

I bought my last rings from Performance Engine Components. Had problems with the scraper rings being too thin, so make sure you give them both sets of numbers off your pistons if you do end up buying new.

Are you using piston ring pliers? Get a pair on eBay for like £5

Did the job for me..... as for piston rings...no idea man, sorry lol.

Cheers chaps, yeah I was using ring pliers at the time. Just got too excited and snapped the first one. TSR have quoted £30 ish so will go with that.

Sounds about right. I paid about 120 for a set of 4.
