14" Schmidt TH-Line Cult

Trying to convince the girl friend to let me buy new wheels. I really want the schmidt wheels but I'm struggling with the estimate how much poke I'm going to get. has any one fitted a set and fitted similar size and how did it look.

Im looking at 14 x 8 ET 18 on the rear and ET 16 on the front.

don't want to buy these just to find out the G looks s*#t lol

8 is mad wide on a tiny little polo. I'd go no wider than 7 personally regardless of offset.
14x6 et38 is a good size. Depends what your doing it for if it's looks then it's a different kettle of fish.
