Been using vpowe petrol has anyone else notised better running ect?
With different fuels ?

Happy new year mate,

I have only ever run v power in the polo so cant really comment, but in the golf i find i get better miles to a tank of fuel.

I never use supermarket fuel, except momentum, as i get really poor mpg with them. BP is really good fuel though.

The last time I used anything but vpower the polo didn't like it at all I think Gs are mapped to use premium feul only,

I went from 6 months of supermarket standard to premium 2 weeks ago and the G is sprightly. Will be popping some of the expensive stuff in for its rolling road session

Sure it even says on the G40's filler cap flap premium fuel only?... I only ever use vpower on my g40, I use supermarket ass on the lupo hack but it doesn't really run good either way.

In the Polo G40 instruction manual it says min of 95 ron.

Premium Unleaded is 95RON. The ordinary 91RON stuff isn't available any more, but would've been when the Polo was launched in the early 1990s.

I use V-Power in mine and it seems happiest running that. But it was mapped with a tank of V-Power so I guess that's to be expected. Plus Shell points are pretty generous if you join the V-Power club.
