This was a show car doing the rounds years ago, had a very nice paint job in lupo green with various modifications which are listed below.

The car has loads of history, the MOT ran out a while ago and hasn't been renewed. The car was on 109k previously, I removed the dials as they were chrome and replaced them with some standard G40 dials. The mileage wasn't adjusted, but these were just before the car was last MOT'd which showed around 115k if I remember correctly (will check) they now read 117, 650. Minor increase in mileage but should be noted for its history.

It has a recent H&R 40mm cup kit, and the lower arms were done for the last MOT, although these aren't the genuine G40 rose jointed lower arms. Wheels are 15x7 et25 with toyos and decent tread although one has gone flat. Brakes are 280mm, with a 22mm master cylinder.

The engine, box and charger are all sound. The only issue the car has is a charging fault where the car looses charge, probably the alternator. The car will drive if you bring a decent battery. I might even have a spare alternator. It has a smaller pulley, chip, custom pipework, front mount intercooler, longlife stainless exhaust, GT injector jackets, alloy header tank, and a few chromed/polished bits.

The interior needs a clean, and the drivers doorcard has distorted. There is some speakers in the car but no head unit.

The car is in Surrey

Nope, but they are free with the car.  ::)

sorry to comment but I remember this car at edition 38 a few years ago and it has had a boat load of money spent on it... someone will be getting a baaaaaaaaaaaaaargain!!! ;)

I remember reading the feature on that in Performance VW or Golf+ when he had it done. Looked very good for it's day.

This was my favorite car when in Redline and was peach in colour with some real trick bits, still could be saved though!

Phil

Indeed, personally I'd like to see it more stock, IE stock half CC'd bumpers and arch trims, but with the rallye front end.
