aquamist kits

right im looking at aqua mist kits as ive decided that i want to run one

What kits are you guys running?

there is one here on maxrpm

there is also one on there for 100 cheaper but its controlled by boost pressure were as this one is controlled by the map sensor readings

anyone had any experience with these kits or is there another solution to run on a g40

I used to have an Aquamist 1S system but the pump seized up and they don't make it anymore (plus spare pumps are/were very expensive).  It's just a boost pressure simple on or off system, no mapping or control.  I now have one of those devils own ones which is basically the same thing but cheaper.

Hav u got a link to were you got it from? We're abouts did u place the jets I think I'm gonna put one in the back or the inlet mani and one before the IC?

Spend it on NOS instead :)

when i go turbo i will run nos but aqua mist will do for the mo
i just need to know what kit to run before i buy it don't want to get the wrong one as the are three types on the devils own site all with different pressure switch ranges i haven't a clue what one to get someone help :)
what are you guys useing out of the three on that link?

when i was gonna go down this route i spent months getting info on it and then decided against it. It was too expensive imo and wasnt a lot of gain with a supercharger.

You can use the 2-10 psi as well. Depends when you want the water meth to kick in.

I'd get the 6-30.  You don't want it below 6psi and being able to go up to 30psi means you can still use it if you go turbo etc...  IIRC I set mine about 15 psi.

True there's little gains to be had with the g-lader but it's worthwhile with a turbo running higher boost, allows you to keep the ignition advance forward at high boost.

Mines a mixture of kits ive brought. Small tank mounted to the bulkhead in the engine bay i got off ebay and pipework i got free. Just got to fiddle with the pressure switch.
