13 Row Oil Cooler .. Or 16 .. and oil catch tank

as per title .. in need of an oil cooler for the g40 for the right price! and a catch tank?

You can get a 13 row cooler on ebay dirt cheap, loads listed for MGB's and so on with 1/2" BSP connections. Probably the most common size available.
As for bigger oil coolers and catch tanks - again ebay is your friend.

How much is dirt cheap? Around 130 for a mocal one?  Which isnt bad but im just limiting my spend temporarily as im dishing out on the g40 :/

So BUMP if anyone has any of these!

Just have a look on ebay. It doesn't have to be a Mocal one, any 13 row cooler will do -  they are not G40 specific. Easily get a new one for under £40 delivered. Just look for the MGB ones, there's loads available.
As for the take off plate, get one with a built in thermostat. Hoses can be made to suit by many different suppliers or you can make your own with parts from Rally Design etc.
Avoid the so called specific kits, they are normally very expensive and the hose lengths aren't very "specific".

Breadman i really appreciate your replies, the g is very close to being done now so will look around ebay. The sandwhich plate, is it a certain size or? And as for hoses where shall i go? Any local hose suppliers? Sorry for the questions, first time after an oil cooler so need the info :/ thank you!!
