Head sensor wiring at back of head?

Hi,
  Perhaps you can help?

There are 2 sensors (pressure switches) at the rear of the head (one that the charger oil feed is connected to and the brown one beside it on the back of the head). I am just putting my engine back in and I am not sure which one the yellow wire connector connects to and which one the blue wire connector connects to. Any ideas?

The Haynes manual is useless and doesn't tell me.

The later cars seem to only have one connector connected to the brown sensor, but mine is a 1991 car that definitely has both.

Are these oil pressure switches and what happens if you get them connected back to front?

Thanks

Pete

Not sure if its much help but when i rebuilt my head for my GT my brother managed to connect them the wrong way round, and i got a constant beeping on the oil light for a little while till i realised he had them on the wrong way! But no harm done! And all was well! Lol

From the front....yellow to the left, blue to the right. High and low pressure switches.

^ that's assuming you've got the sensors the correct way round which they might not be if you've removed them and put them back in.  Otherwise just trial & error, there's only two options.

Don't make life harder than it is; lol.

Thanks Guys for the feedback.

Sensors are the right way round and now with yellow wire connected to the switch nearer injector 1 and the blue one to the switch nearer injector 2 (as Scotsjohn's reply).

Let's hope everything goes OK when I first start her up!

Thanks again.
