Cam belts and water pumps

Where do you guys get your timing belts and water pumps from? Seem to be loads out there and wondered what you guys recommend?

Water pumps now obsolete at vw. Timing belkt over 20 quid.   I can get febi prices for them. The febi pump looked ok samg40 had and the belt febi supplied was an optibelt

jesus! you can't get anything at vw for them any more.  The last one I bought was from VW but it's a while ago now.

Yeah I was a little shocked at the water pump being obsolete. There must be a fair few cars that use them on the road still. I assume a lot must be using cheap pattern stuff instead of genuine however. Suppose it means I might as well bin the few spares I had for exchange purposes out of the garage now.
