Boost gauge

Hello Sam,
Every person will tell you a different brand, it's all about taste.
I'll suggest you, not to buy a cheap autogauge/autometer and generally a crappy gauge. The are inaccurate and all the offer is   a shinny look.

I personally have a racemex/vdo gauge. It costs 45 euros and it is accurate too!

Autometer owns Stack, so the new stuff is all using good quality Stack internals.

Auto Gauge, different matter. Not bad, but not as good as Autometer.

I've got all Stack gear in mine, which I'm really happy with. Not cheap though.

TIM gauges aren't bad, ok for watching for consistency and they match the original instruments well. Cheap too. I used to have a TIM boost gauge in mine, and it seems on reflection that it was fairly accurate.

yeah Autometer aren't cheap gauges.  Auto Gauge ones are bascially cheap copies of autometer.

I'd even steer clear of Autometer , I had an Autometer boost gauge and it read 0.3 bar less than it should.

I never realised the old stuff was bad.

I had a Vdo gauge that was badly inaccurate years ago.

I don't know one way or the other to be honest, but I do know the new stuff is good quality gear.

It'd make sense for an American company like Autometer to buy out a higher grade British manufacturer like Stack to use and rebrand their internals as their own, that's all.

I use all stack gauges and they are really good. Not too expensive if your getting a mechanical boost gauge.
