Idle Screw

Is this the screw to set the idle at the back of the throttle body?

Been trying to adjust it and it doesn't seem to do much, with or without the Blue Temp Sender connected?

With a warm engine screwing the idle screw all the way in should stall the engine. If it doesn't then you've likely got a vacuum leak.
Leave the blue temp connected.

I turned it a full turn (inwards) and it didn't do much at all, is that not enough?... I thought it's supposed to be set to 950 with the blue temp disconnected (in service mode)?

The idle screw (in the pic, throttle body) is a simple throttle plate bypass - turning it all the way in (until it stops turning) should leave insufficient air for the engine to run, stalling it. If it doesn't stall, then you likely have a leak somewhere.

Count the number of turns inwards so you can set it to the same afterwards if necessary.

that needs to be done with the blue temp unplugged. should say in the haynes manual
