Hi all, I've got an old standard charger that the internal timing belt snapped and blew a whole in the casing. I was wondering if there's any parts that could be used from it?
I'd of thought its dead but thought id check if it could be worth anything before I threw it away

Cheers

Drop PeteG40 a pm. I'm sure he might want it for spares when he does rebuilds.

xandyx

maybe, everything except the casings, bearings and seals..

let's say, spindle, keyways, pulley, cogs, bolts, groove springs.

Any way I'll know without splitting it? How much are those bits worth?

PeteG40

no, you'll have to take it apart really to know truly whats useable.

literally worth a few quid

Jake

Ah may aswell just throw it out then.
Cheers for the info

PeteG40

dont just throw it - i'll have it for spares!
