Mk2 Polo Coupe G40

Considering selling the G if I get any sensible offers.

1989 Polo Coupe G40 swap.

I swapped it a month or so ago with a friend for my Jetta VR6.

I haven't had it that long but after having a VR6 commuting 60miles a day in this is abit tiring.

It has 67k, good history.

R1 charger rebuilt 7k ago

65mm PSD Pulleys

Toothed belts

Newman Cam

4branch, Decat and full exhaust (as new)

PPP Chip to suit

270mm Brake upgrade

Mocal oil cooler

Seat Ibiza FMIC

Strut braces front and rear

Lowered on shocks and springs (2k ago)

BBS RZ 14 inch with Toyo T1R's all round.

Excellent condition car and Drives beautifully and if I could afford to keep it as a weekend car I would.

Will not take a penny less than £2500 but open for swaps and px's cash either way.

Ideally something more modern/VR6.

I had it rolling roaded last weekend at RS Tuning in Leeds.

There rollers are known for being very conservative with power figures.

Pulled a easy 147bhp and 130lbft. The curves are fantastic and torque is pretty much constant from about 2800-7200rpm.

0-60 I have never tested it. Having that power and weighing 740kg I would estimate around high 5's.

If I'm honest I think £2500 is a very good price considering the mileage, condition and work on the engine.

If you came with cash and made me a serious offer close to £2500 I'd maybe drop very slightly but don't expect to come down more than £50-100.

Its black leather interior, leccy windows central locking. I'll get a pic. Although its in a few bits as i was doing the handbrake cables. I'll dig out the info when i get home. The headgasket was done by a mate who was the previous owner fairly recently.
