G45 Charger

Has anyone got one of these yet? Reason I ask is both my chargers could do with a service but I'm considering getting one of them instead. I can't remember where I saw them now but the price was about £650 I think?

Just looking for more info really, opinions, advice, etc.

How much do G60's go for? Just a standard unit. Could be fun bolting one of them on 'til it pops.

Someone developed them as well as G65/ G70 chargers too. I remember reading lots about them and finally, they became available for sale this year. I can't find any info now though so maybe I've gone mental and invented the whole thing? :s

there copies tho made from g40 chargers, it has it on the casting - im not to sure i like the 3 pronged support either - not to sure on them if im honest - but fair play there being made.

i saw the G65/70 chargers but they were fully brand new.

I'm considering it at the mo. I've ploughed so much money into the car this year in parts (that I've still not fitted) I'm at the stage where I feel like doing the lot in one go... then again I may just replace whatever's wrong in my full blend and send my original to Pete. I should really find out what's up with mine before anything else really!

I'll have a look around and see if I can find anyone that's got one and what they think. In the meantime, if anyone else has any info or whatever then get writing!

would want to read that in german first - the g65 have a new wider scroll and machine casings to suit.. but they are 1000euro more. I suspect tha the g45 is just a very heavily ported g40 - like a full blend maybe? i dunno.

They machine out the casings by 5mm to then fettle a g60 scroll to fit i believe.
