ATV G40 Gearbox

It was removed from a G40 with just over 100k and covered about 20miles in my scirocco

I did start to polish this box but changed my mind and I'm now looking for a 5 speed in an original/used finish... Don't ask hahaha The G40 box is now painted black.

It was very nice in the scirocco.. The gears were much tighter and closer together than my 4 speed. I didn't even have to mod my 4 speed linkage to get all 5 gears. it doesn't feel like its covered 100k.

I'm after £220

I wouldn't start polishing a gearbox that i didn't have faith in

How comes you reverse light switch is different? Mines not a pin style, mines a plug connection.

probably from a mk1 golf/rocco to fit in his mk1 rocco!

hi mate sorry for no reply i looked at courier and its rather expencive so cannot realy afford it at the min im goin to try and rebuild mine myself.

No problems thanks for letting me know and good luck with rebuilding your box.

Its the value and weight that bumps up the courier costs. you could send it un-insured for around £20 but I would not risk it, Ive had couriers kill gearboxes in the past thus me being not so keen to post.

Where could i get it posed for that? it may be worth the risk to me! i dont mind if i could get the box to me for around that price i will still have it..
