Had a tidy up in the garage and found these, one on the left is by jabbasport, one on the right came with a second hand engine i bought:

I think i've seen photos of that before, thats mad though - wonder if it boosts well? it must need a ported to hell charger outlet!

Jezza-7

My jabbba charger is very similar to yours. Maybe mines got a little more taken out. Was boosting 18-19 psi with it.

the one on the right i'd suggest would have trouble getting the boost into the outlet, and maybe trouble sealing the outlet - even if modded!... certainly no o-ring and hylomar instead!

fil_rite13

Yeah, no seal with the O ring on the outlet dome, i'll post a pic of that up later as its been ported to hell as well  ::)

Pic of the ported charger outlet dome next to a standard one, pretty sure the charger was run on 63mm pully  :o

looks as if outlet has been over ported then chemical metalled up on the bend.

djtez

Does seem that way..
Would it be a good idea to port the outlet majorly on an r1/full blend?

PeteG40

port matched is good.. but they do become rather thin..

With anything like that... not sure you'd notice the difference.  I bet you'd not between an r1/stage4/full blend on the road.

Depends how new your apex seals in the charger are too.!

Deffo notice between Stage 4 and R1/Full Blend, whilst mapping fuel requirements are quite different  :)

That looks like one of my old chargers!  The way its polished and cut.  Polished using a scouring pad (if thats whats its called) in a dremmel holder bit to give the smooth yet slightly rough texture for the air to flow over (think golfball).  Outlet Seal was removed and dremmelled out, but is fairly port matched to the outlet of charger so not to introduce a step.  You wouldn't believe the amount of thought was going into our ones, even down to calculations, flow volume etc!

Could also be a Race Power Motorsport charger done by Andy Boakes as we did our chargers the same.  Andy had about 3-4chargers himself as spares for the racer, Quinny had one aswell and I think a few more people had a few.

It was yours as i bought the set up out of your green Mk2, even came and collected it  ;)
