Anyone know if these came in different sizes?

I always thought there was CL/GT size, and the G40 twin v-belt style. Have come to fit a single v-belt CL crank pulley tonight and found it doesn't clear the metal timing marker. So, is the timing marker different, or have I got an odd size crank pulley?

Yes there are two different size pulleys, for sure think one was earlier and one was later they have corresponding size alternator pulleys aswell. Only info I can see on etka is  part numbers are different 056 105 255 for one and 030 105 255 e for the other I have a spare one and it measures 22m wide and about 146 mm in diameter . Timing covers only two are listed those are one for the py with the metal pointer and the other for the gt

Cheers Anthony - which part number is on yours please?

when I put my non-g40 bottom pulley onto mine it hit the marker too.  I just bent the marker to accommodate it and re-made timing marks on the pulley using a DTI gauge.  I wasn't confident in the non-g40 pulley mark matching the g40 pointer anyway.

I've got 030 105 255E, so at least it's the right part.

The G40 and CL pulleys have the TDC markers in a slightly different position, approx 5° apart from what I measured last night - though I was knackered so was being spesh.

I had in my head that my original CL engine had a metal timing marker on it too, but coming to think of it, it was deffo plastic. New cambelt cover time methinks.

Cheers Anthony - getting a CL cover from Chris tomorrow. The metal pointer on mine's already bent to buggery, so I'd rather sack it off and sort it properly!
