How to change a pulley quik response needed

We can only presume the charger pulley, as we're in the supercharger forum section. But definitely not clear.

Well if it is that one and you have toothed belts then put an old belt on the pulley, get a g-clamp, mulgrips (self locking pliers) or another tool that i cant remember the name of and clamp it on and then just simply undo.

If its a vee belt pulley i think the most easiest way is to get the tool i cant think of and use them. Begins with a b i think.

Oh no began with an s Stilson.

I perfer using a g-clamp and using the engine mount to wedge it in.

Sorry for the lack of info to start,  thanks for your advice and input I go it off with a set if mole grips after.

Now I have pretty much everything on bar the rad and I/c then a banjo bolt decides to snap stopping me from finishing sometimes it does seem a never ending job.

I know what you mean, a snapped wheel bolt is stopping me getting mine on the road.

So many things have gone wrong or needed replacing through the build.

Yeh the banjo bolt for the feed on the charger snapped, it has got holes in it though so its bound to be weaker than a stardard bolt.

I did the same about 2months ago. I used a small oil filter wrench thing (it's a handle with a piece of belt coming out you loop round the filter/ pulley and it locks as you turn the nut in the opposite direction). Only cost a few quid from a motor factors

Cheers jez but I have been on to the phone to my local Vw this morning and they are only £1.80 a bolt so I'm just going to get a whole new set just be on the safe side but thanks again for the offer 

Ereeiz looks a pretty handy tool for pulleys and oil filters I may invest in one for the future.

I don't think they're strong enough for a charger pulley.  Need a chain whip and a rubber belt to protect the pulley.
