I had one of these fitted to my G40, after a few enquiries about them i decided to have a batch made.

The are made from mild steel 3mm thick, zinc plated.
They have all the holes for mounting to the chassis, holes for the radiator and the holes for the intercooler on the front.

If you have ever had an original front bracket off you will see how weak it is, this bracket strengthens the front a great deal, help stopping the dreaded chassis flex.

All in all a great addition to any mk3 polo.
Fitment is a simple task, please note these brace bars can not be fitted with the standard plastic radiator cowling, the cowling will require modification.

Price was £40 originally but now selling at £25 and postage is £10 courier

i have 12 of these available

i might have one saved somewhere, anything in particular you are wanting to see?

Just the way it mounts. I have never taken off the original bracket so im not sure where this goes?

I want one too - would this make my brace bar redundant?

DKnight

as with most of the things i make, it is all just in my head on how it will help and nothing is specifically proven.

But i think it is a key part that should be reinforced, the front bumper bar holds it in place but nothing actually strengthens it and stops it flexing.

If you remove the existing bracket you can twist it with your hand, these hold the front end together so much better.

Personally i can see these making the brace bar redundant, but having both i can not see as being a bad thing.

If anyone wants one drop me a pm, paypal is good, and they are in stock all set to go.

Postage is same for multiple so if you know anyone else local to you it will save a bit

here are the only pictures i can find at the minute
