i noticed on a friends mk3 1 litre (m reg) it has a plastic water pipe. unsure if this may be suitable for retrofitting to the PY block but would stand the test of time longer!

I'd thought about this too Saf, but I haven't seen a plastic water pipe with the ISV mount on it so I scrapped the idea. Have you seen any with the correct bracket?

Also do you have the window seal that goes in between the main window and small triangle. E.g the long seal on the window side?

Hi, yes fly wheel is still here, unfortunatlly i sold them seals yesterday so you just missed them.
