is the gearbox an original atv?

was the car an original G as it appears to be missing the bee sting!

sorry mate not looking to part it out dont have the means of striping it and sending stuff off plus i would much rather it go as a whole car, but if it comes to it then i'll let you know.

the gearbox isn't atv its from a polo cl but has near same ratio.

yer it is an origional g40, don't know what the bee sting is though mate haha ?

Well i'd be happy to come and strip most bits off for you myself if that helps, drop me a pm if you do decide to part it (or at least sell a couple of the bolt on goodies)

cl boxes arent really close to atv boxes, and they have a weaker diff. they also fetch circa 5 times the price, hence me asking, all good tho!

and sorry about being vague re bee sting, im referring to a roof fitted ariel can comes off at a bit of an angle, its commonly referred to as a bee string and was fitted on mk2 golf gtis and polo g40s among other models. from the pics (its hard to tell) but it doesnt look like yours is fitted with one?
