surely that's not legal, I might report that to ebay!  It's only going to end in people selling cars with made up service history.

I've seen that before.  Dodgy!

You can write to dealers and ask them to stamp your service book for you if you have missing ones when they serviced you car.  I have most of mine now but unfortunately some dealers have closed down so I've just had to write it in to show when it was done (more for my record).

well I've reported it to ebay.  I appreciate that there could be a legitimate use for that if someone has lost a service history book but they should get a new one from the dealers!  These are just going to end up being bought by dodgy 2nd hand car dealers bumping up prices with fake service history.
