brake bulb in dash lit up dimly

Hi , ithe in dash brake warning lamp iss lit dimly when the ignition is on , it is lit up brighjt as it should be when tje hand brake is on , I have checked fluid and all is ok , I have tried bridging the wires at the reervoIr plug , but is still lit dimly , anyone come across this before ?

All seem fine , light is working coretly when you opperate handbrake , it is lit dimly with hand brake off
