How come some people have the two pipes attached through the top and others dont have them installed at all.

Just curious and trying to get my head around the engine a little, is it to do with a warm air feed into the throttle body.

Bottom pic. is a car with the boost return removed. Should be plenty on this in charger FAQ.s.
