Club G40 rolling road day - CANCELLED!!

Hi All,

Luckly the MOT doesnt run out on the MK1 Golf till the Monday after this, so Rae & Myself will be coming down.

Last night I mentioned round the Dub Preservation/Dub Force meet, and quite a few people were intrested.

Matt Short has put the details up on Dub Force website and we will compile a list and get it over to Pete / Sam As soon as possible.

Really enjoyed last years, although dont fancy coolant flavour sandwiches again!!

Wont be able to make this now as my charger has sprung a problem. Doubt it will be serviced within 2 weeks and then gotta run it in so gonna miss this now. Gutted really.

Pete with the deposit i put down just put it into the club or something like that.

Guys- This has now been cancelled due to lack of interest (we really need 15+ cars to run).

We're thinking of one around Easter time once people have had a chance to fettle over winter

yep sorry guys but as yoof says, we've had to cancel this for now due to lack of interest.  We need 15+ cars to confirm and we've had about four put deposits down.  Those who have paid will get a full refund.

Hopefully we can arrange something for next year but since the club polo one will no doubt be in january we'll prob leave it to later in the year, easter time possibly, as yoof said.

Could do with some more time. Have acquired a Mk1 golf and my plans to reinforce the supercharger bracket were scuppered today when the band saw decided it does not like 6mm stainless

Sounds like a plan. Looked like there weren't many cars to run but interest in the day was there - plenty of people saying they would attend even if they weren't running.
