hi people,
newbie here, well new to this forum, i was into g40 s ten years ago!doesnt seem that long ago lol , ive now purchased another one (missed them to much)
this is my 3rd original g40, but my 5th g40 engined car , one was a well known pea green 76 mk1 golf that i owned a good few years back
any way i have now a black g40 , standard looks but good mods, engine suspension etc

Welcome to the forum. Very nice Mk1 Golf as I recall. Did it throw the rod out of the block when you owned it? Get some pictures up!

yea it was good when i owned it lol
it threw a rod on 2 owners down the line from me, basically oil pump failure from what i recall, shouldnt of done it really , but i can only comment on its maintenance while i had it lol
