hi their  iv checked it and it was alright and it seemed fairly clean

I reckon either the clutch needs adjusting (30 second job), the release bearing has gone (not a 30 second job) or worse still the lever on which the release bearing sits has snapped off the gearbox (this happened to my 8P box).

was the box noisey before they became stuck? does it relese once stood for a while?
