hi guys, ive recently purchased my first g40 and im going to make a start on servicing it.
i was just wondering what would be the best stuff to use?
im going to change
oil filter-from my work wich is vw
fuel filter-ill get from my work (vw)
pollen filter-from work
oil
plugs
dizzy- from work
ht leads-i know pretty much anyones will do but im going for splitfire leads

my main concerns are the oil and plugs, i dont want to put a oilo in that would be suited to the g40, the same with the plugs as i know there easy to get hold off but i know some plugs will do a better job than others

thanl you guys :)

get the proper Bosch plugs, they are W5DP0's. They are about £15 each, you can get cheap alternative ones for a fraction of the price but they will cause running issues like mis fire etc. Many people will tell you that you can run other plugs but they most probably don't know what a G40 is!!

Stay away from splitfire leads have heard of loads of people having trouble with them. Just get some german made ones from GSF and you'll have no issues.

yes ive magnecore ones on my polo gti and they broke everytime i changed the plugs, they were shit so i thought ill go for some splitfire ones, cheers for the heads up!
