hayesey I thinking to buying a kit powerflex, whats your oppinion about thist? I use the car in city sometimes but i'm fear that is too hard...

Phil

Avoid the powerflex bushes on the G40.

The inners are ok if you haven't got the rose joint, but the outters tear the ring of the end within a couple thousand miles if driving properly. Doesn't matter how much power you have, record stands at 1k miles on a 55hp coupe s.

I can do bushes that don't break cheaper than that too.

tbf i had them powerflex ones on my old G for 20k with a PPS subframe and they were fine. This time I got em from phil J as he does the inner and outer.

Andy

I fucked a few pairs in quick succession and after a massive whinge to Powerflex got another set free. And they've actually lasted, they got fitted just before the prototype subframe several years ago - so maybe loss of ARB made a difference.

They're sat on the shelf now as I've replaced them with our proto adjustable TCAs, so have rosejoint inner and a PPP-supplied outer nylon bush.
