Alternator Mount Bolt

Random one, I need the bolt that holds the alternator on at the top?

It managed to work itself loose then fell off while I was limping home and couldn't find it on the road. D'oh!

Anyone know if it's the same as any other mk3?

Etka says its a hexagonal head bolt M8 x 120

Price says £2.16 but that may not be correct.Other mk3's are different.

the exact same thing happened to me, you can get the bolt from vw still but the spacer/sleeve is a discontinued part, i made a spacer on the lathe.

I got an alternator complete that i might be selling. If that part is not required you want it?

Just dont ask for it as soon as possible if they dont have one. Was gonna cost me £6.88 for just the bolt overnight until i realised i had a spare
