Looking into ATS cups and have come across 2 sets.

One is 6J x 14 ET 33 PCD 100

And the other is PCD x 100 7J x 15 offset 20

Would either of these be ok? Im looking more towards the 14's as i have run 15's before and werent 100% sure.

I'd stick with the 14's, the the 15's will have more dish but will stick out further with the lower offset.

I used to run 7x15 ET28 ATS cups and scrubbage was a contant issue on the fronts. ET20 will be worse than that so don't expect to be able to go low at all (mine was on an H&R cup kit at the time)

Looked the tits mind.

I've since gone to 14x6 ET33 compomotives and handling is much improved, more 'pointy' and feels lighter on its feet.

Personally I'd stick with 14's...

Exactly what I felt mine had lost when I went from 5.5x13's to 7x15's. The car was just much more nimble on the smaller wheels. 6x14 next!

Well i just bought some ATS Cups for £120! Gonna send them off for refurb. 14x6J was the size, ET33 so they will be good. They are completly standard, will get a pic once i have them. Gonna get plack centres, gun metal grey spoke area (whatever that is called) then im debating wether to go silver painted rim or polished? There isnt a massive rim on them but not 100%.

Jezza-7

Well here just picked them up.

Not bad for £122

Taking them to prestine wheels for refurb this week.

Deciding on colours to have.

AdzCM

You should do em yourself, they dont look too bad as in no real kerbing marks - if its just paint flaking you could rub em down and paint away unless theyre in real bad nick and you dnt have time etc. £122 unreal value, nice wheel too.

Nice one jezza good size and proper bargin aswell !!

Jezza-7

Yeah i could do, but its time and i want them ready for the festival in july. I think my car will be nearly as i want it for then, just wanna save for a full body respray.

Couldnt beleive how cheap i got them, was expecting to pay £200 mark.

Im just unsure what colour to go. I was gonna get them done how they are originally but i wann do something different. I was thinking of getting them the same colour as these steelies:

Yeah mate, those steelies are awesum. your g is grey isnt it?

If your thinking along that gunmetal grey colour you should nearly get them painted the same grey colour as your car with the lip polished. Id more than likely get them resprayed in a nice silver with the black centre caps or else all black with the lip polished, would look well on a grey car. Just a few ideas lol, but suppose theyre not really different...

You'd need to source some centre caps for those wheels or do you have them already? I just got sum off ebay.

Jezza-7

Yeah mine is grey, so many different combinations to have though. I think the same grey as my car would go well. Not sure about the polished lip though. I think it would look good though.

Gonna get some centre caps, found some on here which are good price.

Only £10 each.

AdzCM

Aw yeah, those centre caps wud go well considering they are ats alloys. I had to get the larger VW centre caps for my steelies to cover up all the holes ... £19 won on ebay, bargin lol!

A grey car will suit many diff paint combos, gd luck with it, will be good to see her all finished.

PeteG40

AAT do the proper centres for about £4 each

Jezza-7
