sticking in gears when booted?

Latest problem!!!
i gave my G full beans for the first time in a while yesterday. As soon as i calmed down and slowed down it started to really stick in the gears!
Third seemes the worst one to get out of, I really had to yank it out!?!
i kept driving and it kept getting better - as it cooled down i presume?
It seems to go into gear ok, it's just coming out of gear!

Any ideas (I promise to read them all properly this time, Pete)

sounds like its low on box oil - have you checked the level?

not yet but will do tomorrow - that is really what i'm hoping though!!!!
