I had an awesome weekend and the driving about parts really made it for me. Good to have a blast about on some good roads with a load of G's! Was also good to meet some new people and see some of the old faces of course. Nice one to all those involved in organising it. On with pics....
Start of the day as we all met in the Ladybower Inn car park.

Random Guinea Pigs at the side of the road. They obviously lived there and were just loose! Was one of the strangest things to just randomly come across.

Onto the campsite which was in the grounds of a brilliant pub. The beef and stilton pie was top and the award winning pint (or two) washed it down a treat! Was very wet putting the tents up but we managed ok and it eventually stopped.

And the only two pictures I took all day at Tatton! Whoops.

Haha, I'll get my pics up later... shame I didn't make it to the campsite, or manage full throttle all day  :scyth:

Always next year eh!  LOL

Good to meet everyone though

PeteG40

at the risk of sounding very sad... it feels more like a club and less like a forum now!!!

DKnight

why is their wild guinea pigs????

this is a great picture!

Love the pictures

Guinea pigs though wtf  :D

hayesey

great pictures dude!

I've got some videos of the driving, might see if I can pick out some decent bits and post them up tonight.

Those guinea pigs were crazy, I don't know what's stopping them just buggering off or going in the road and all getting flattened.  It was outside a weird pub too (but one with good beer).  It wouldn't be be good if you didn't like bitter though as they had a sign up at the bar basically saying anyone who asks for lager would get a smack.

The pub we camped at was great, one of the best pub meals I've ever had I reckon.

The highlight of the weekend for me was probably the drive on an empty cat&fiddle road early on sunday morning. :)

you should post these up on club polo too sam, nice bit of advertising for the forum and club.

did anyone get photos of the club stand?  I think a mate of mine did at one point so will get photos off him.  We had a better turn out of g40s than club polo could muster up in any variety of polo!

although the location for our stand was a bit cack, tucked away at the back out of the way.

tdh-syorks

sorry i didn't turn up guy's i didn't re-build in time. hopefully mine will be ready for next sunday.
great pic's,

Andy

Gutted I couldn't make this, now I'm living in the West Midlands should be better placed to make it for next year!

Any plans to rejuvinate the old G40 rolling road days complete with piss-up?

PeteG40

if we can get a guaranteed 20 cars to run, then i'll book one
