I sold my black G40 3 years ago and have never seen it since. Mechanically it was the most original, solid, cleanest, original example I have ever seen before or since. As soon as i'd sold it I was sad, I brought a mk4 gti 150 which didn't come close for g-smiles. 2 years later and I've found myself a lovely engine which is going in a mk1 golf now, so i'll get my G-smiles back. If anyone knows where it is, please put some pics up as i'd love to see it now. It ended up around Birmingham having been bought from me in Newbury Berks.
