I guess with the DSG it'll be not so bad.  Just seems like more gears than any reasonable person needs on the road though.  Just can't help thinking they've put 7 gears in it because some marketing gimp thought it sounds better on the spec sheet than 6 or god forbid, a dark-ages style 5.

amps work backwards,  loudest is at max which is 0 really [zero resistance]



back to the 7 speed box, they are very good, and like yoof stated, you don't notice the changer up. for fast road driving you can't compare manual to dsg.......
