Steering Rack - Removal?

How do you seperate it from the column? mine seems seized? I have removed the brackets in the bay, just being held on by the column? the splined bit seems pretty stuck!

it'll be a tight fit, pull it harder

changed mine last week, keep working at it and it will come off, took me about 15 mins to prize the thing open and get the rack loose form the column, glad i won't have to do that again.
