Rite did a gt conversion to my 1.0 using the same fuel pump, i have changed the engine to a G40 now and i have the fuel pump for the g40, however the plugs dont fit. Do i need to change the fuel pump ? if i do how do i go about changing the plug?

Cheers

yes you do - you need the plug - can buy from vw or get it from someone scrapping a g40/gt

but why to change the pump? the pump hs enough capacity ..... you can easely drive G60 on pump fm engine 1.0L without any problem .... thi is checked nd tested nd it's working

gt and g40 pumps flow more

people in the uk have melted pistons by using a non-gt/g40 inline fuel pump.  No way would you be safe running a g60 on a pump only flowing as much as a single point injection mk3 polo pump.

It is multipoint fuel pump nd working normaly. pressure in not falling at all. on 700rpm pressure is 2.8 bar nd when pussing car to the limit pressure is 4.7 bar.

a 1 litre pump isnt going to be a multipoint pump as there is no such thing as a multipoint 1 litre mk3 polo engine.
