Mk2 golf 1.8t

Just wondering if anyone has drivin or had a ride in one and what they compare like to a reasonably high powered g40?? Personally I think they look better than the g but I Spode that's all down to personal taste!
Seen a nice not to expensive one on piston heads and thought it may be an alternative maybe even better choice than a g40?!

the link is the one I'm looking at just thought I would get more power to weight and better handeling for less money than what it would cost to get
my g to the same sort of level

If you do end up moving away from the G40 i'll buy the turbo conversion off you

Yea my mates got a mk2 with a bam unit and t is lovley although this one on piston heads is is a little better looking conversion than his. Hmmmmm it is tempting to buy it but I am half way through the turbo conversion so I would either have to take it all back to s/charged or finish the conversion but I think a turbo'd Will be a little harder to sell.
I'll keep that in mind leonl if I do decide to take this up

agu enigne is the best to start with. not a bad price really but id bin the standard management.

I love mk2 Golfs! Had a few over the years, and fondly remember going to GTI International around 10-12 years ago when it was still at TRL. Once you got within a couple of miles of the place there'd be mk2's everywhere, fantastic!

As for this particular one dub-disaster, I can fully appreciate where you're coming from, I think it looks really nice and appears to be a lot of car for the money. Good luck!

VR6 Turbo all the way IMO!

My dream is to have a 4wd Corrado VR6 Turbo

mate has a 5door vr6 turbo stage 2 .. not that impressed

his brother hve vr mk2 non turbo and i again not all its hyped to be..
does go but i'd much rather tune a bam or agu..
friend has a 550bhp rs4.. (y)
